The Jaffa are now a largely Free Nation, the Goa'uld scattered, and the Replicators have been defeated. Teal'c has left for the new planet of the Free Jaffa Nation, Dakara, while Lieutenant Colonel Samantha Carter now heads a department of Area 51, and Doctor Daniel Jackson is determined to go to Atlantis. Vala returns to Earth for a short time, binding Daniel to her until a treasure trove is found. Shortly after, an illness is brought back by SG-2, which incidentally, strands Daniel Jackson on Earth, but this will be the least of the problems that plague Stargate Command or it's people. Meanwhile, the people of Atlantis have just met the Human-Form Replicators of the Pegasus Galaxy, and things are not going as they wanted...
